There's a song by Vanessa Williams called Sweetest Days. I thought about that song because it was only a year ago that we spent our last days together in Europe, but it's felt like so long ago. I don't often think about my future anymore. I attribute that to the fact that I have you now so I don't worry too much. It's not that I take you for granted, but rather it's because I know that as long as I have you, the future will be okay.

You make the future okay. For that I'm thankful and grateful and blessed. I know the current times leave a lot to be desired, but as long as we have each other, we're going to be okay.
