It was a long day today, but I shouldn’t complain. Got to golf and eat good.

Today wasn’t as majestic as yesterday, but the beauty of Yellowstone is massive. We kinda saw a bear today. Tons of bison. It was also really nice to be able to pee so freely and often. Except that one time where we didn’t use a restroom and someone made it all awkward 😭.
I know there will be other reasons to remember today (I’m hiding upstairs and have the fan and ac on so I can’t hear anything. Wish I had grabbed my water bottle and gummies, but I’ll survive).
This is one of the reasons I try to limit emotions and I also don’t like anyone to have blackmail power over me so I’m okay cutting people and things out to prevent that, but I understand it’s different for you and I’m sorry. Let’s stop talking about that.

I forgot that there are a lot of Samoans in Utah because a lot of them are Mormon (the airport staff on the ground were Samoans, they’re a big and strong people). Anyhow. I often joke that I’d rather go to work than hike, but I’m looking forward to not working this week. Hope both legs of my trip are great for me and for my so mot (#1). Last night I had prepared a post about understanding/communication, but I deleted it and posted about date nite. And then we got into a discussion about the former...Currently, I’m not hungry, but Google says I should still eat because regular meals are essential to body function.
I had to take a break. Ate, showered, brushed, stop by home, Porrines, had to detour, went to Walmart, bought lottery. Busy busy. Anyhow I was thinking I wanted to try to empty fridge/freezer before wedding. That’s all for today. Waiting for you at work. Smell you later. TTQD! #OT. 😂 I’m sitting on the 7th hole at Wild Hawk. We started on the back 9, so technically only 3 🕳 left to play. We are waiting for these slow Asians in front of us. I’m playing horrible. TJ has 2 🐥. So it’s actually a really bad day. (Tee break) And I didn’t eat yet except a granola bar, some jerky, and fruit snacks. I just pulled another tee shot to left of this hole pictured:
I just topped my next tee shot which should not happen. Maybe I’m just tired. But my point is sometimes you just got to breathe and take a break before doing or saying anything. Emotions are good sometimes, but not good all the time. In the heat of the moment it’s like the song (Love The Way You Lie). Hopefully I never say things that I don’t mean. Thuong you bruh.
It’s finally Friday. That means tomorrow I get to golf. Took last Saturday off so I guess it feels more exciting this week than normal.
As I was showering I thought about our future. I know life isn’t always going to be smooth. I also know that worrying about the past and future isn’t always helpful because the present is the only guarantee. I just look forward to a time when we can worry less and enjoy more (post covid and post wedding). But I’ll try to focus and enjoy the present as well. ATEN!!
Life has a way of circling/cycling back. Sometimes you keep moving, but you end up where you started. There’s some times a reason for that and there’s some times not. It’s really what you make out it.
Any problem in life can be a big one if you make it one. There’s a boba shortage, but I think I’ll make the switch to crystal boba...Things will always find a way to work themselves out. It may not be ideal, but the alternative usually is worse. Like if I don’t like my job, there’s always a door, but I will have to look for a new job...it’s not most optimistic way to look at life, but it’s a pretty practical one. TLG!!
It still feels like a day off. But for more reasons today. I got some relaxing in but it also felt like Thursday. Weird how that is. Anyhow, I didn’t know what to write about today, but as I was taking out the soul I was reminded of something Mario told me (ironic):

Good news. I’m fully vaccinated. Yah. Bad news. My arm is sore and I am currently feeling a little light headed. I woke up from a nap. Could be coincidence, but I’m not a napper usually.

Today is the day before Good Friday. It’s the day before Jesus sacrificed himself for us because we know not what are doing. Vince sent me this picture today. “Stud” he says. Anyhow, I’ve always seen the season of Lent as time to better myself. Self reflection and sacrifice. SS. It wasn’t perfect, but it never really is. I think it was still good though. Something I hope to implement going forward is the 5 second rule. It only takes 5 seconds to decide to action. If you wait longer than that, your mind usually finds excuses for you to not do anything. So I’m gonna try to break bad habits by counting to 5. Wish me luck. TTQD!
